Best light coupling

No liquid light guide! The transmission of light guides is 60-80%, depending on the wavelength. Light guides are increasing Etendue, and their output cannot be efficiently coupled to the microscope objective. On average, 50% of the light is lost using a liquid light guide. The direct-coupled design eliminates all these problems.

No additional boxes around the microscope.

Light guides have to be replaced at regular intervals, which increases operating costs.

Passive cooling for the best image quality and reliability

There are no fans in the light engine thus no vibration is transferred to the imaging system.

Optionally, a standard 1” optical filter can be mounted in any channel.

DLE-500

DLE-500 is a simple solution to replace arc lamps with an LED light engine. The number of channels can vary from 3 to 5.

DLE-800

DLE-800 is a sophisticated all-around LED light engine. The number of channels can vary from 3 to 8.

Each channel can be controlled individually through USB or RS-232 and triggered directly.

Each channel has a dedicated light sensor for absolute stable light output.

All channels can be driven at maximum power simultaneously.
